Lifting
The most challenging aspect lies in transporting the product(s) onto the roof, particularly when dealing with heavy items like rooflights. Hoisting such weighty rooflights up ladders can pose safety risks. It’s advisable to consult with your builder to ensure they can manage the lift safely. Alternatively, you may want to consider employing an assisted lift.
We can guide you through the process, assessing whether your property is suitable for a spider crane lift and whether it aligns with your budget. The spider crane can facilitate the transportation of products onto the roof. It’s important to note that a spider crane can not lift units over your house.
This option is available at £995 per delivery (excl VAT), inclusive of a fully qualified operator.

Lifting over the house
If you need a crane to lift over the house, we can assist in organizing this service, with prices starting from £1,495 plus VAT. Please contact us to discuss this option.
Whether you’re coordinating the lift independently or using our spider crane, ensure that your fitters or builders are present on the delivery day. Their on-site presence is crucial to facilitate a smooth lifting and fitting process.
Delivery
We will transport your rooflight to either the kerbside, driveway, or the nearest accessible point.
It is the responsibility of the clients/builders/fitters, to transport them to the fitting area. Clients must ensure they have an adequate number of people and/or equipment to carry out this procedure.
